The Full Story

When i first started in the industry, i always felt like everyone around me really didn't know what they were doing. They were optimistically ignorant and it messed with me. Who was I to think people around me didn't know their business and I'm 6 months licensed.

After speaking to the CEO, wholesalers, Managers, and reading books like The Laser Fund and The Power of Zero. I also was listening to Dave Ramsey, the Whitecoat Investor, and many other antagonists. After spending 100s and 100s of hours, reading books and articles, listening to podcasts, You tube university, etc. I soon felt like i was in the matrix and everyone around me were NPCs.

After posting on social media for 1 year straight, as i learned, i posted. I had a WILD influx of clients. I spoke to people and review illustrations and account returns. I realized very quickly that everything i thought was correct, was correct. That everyone around me were NPCs. I taught our ENTIRE insurance company how to write policies correctly. Once i upgraded and branched out, the company bashed my name and said they needed to write bad policies for income.

All this being said. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone, I'm extremely introverted. What can i do to get out of my comfort zone, public speaking, talking to people, and not hiding away in my home. I created WHYLIE before i could even begin to get analysis paralysis. WHYLIE stands for the people that want to do right by people and learn their craft BUT still do what is required to grow as an advisor and a sales person.
